MOTHER'S DAY

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!!

What a day I truly have dreaded, a day I have simultaneously cried over on and off again. A day I never truly thought this was the way I would be celebrating, or grieving, BUT HERE WE ARE. Last mothers day I was pregnant, and had no idea. I just want to say a few things on this monumental day.

We are fearless amazing mothers, whether you have children in heaven, living children, adopted children, a foster mother. I could list it all YOU ARE A MOTHER. I heard something “the journey to motherhood is different for all, it is how you’re a big sister, auntie, and love your friends' children”. You are a mother.

I view today so differently. The children you see with their mother may not be all that she has, she may have lost a child(ren), she may have chosen to not keep her baby and she sacrificed her child for adoption, she may be a foster mother, trying for children. Whoever you are YOU ARE A MOTHER.

Today please be so kind and so gracious. Also remember that some women do not have their mother here today either. Today is a day of celebration, but it can also be a day of grieving and HEAVY for our hearts.
